DetailsI have just installed jDownloads 1.9.0_RC_build_903 on a Joomla! 1.6.5 System and it looks very good/promissing.
I just cannot upload any file as the SWFUpload.swf is not working properly on my Debian system. As Shockwave has - more or less - always caused trouble on *nix systems I would really like to have the possibility to use a non-SWF-Uploader (even single file) in jDocuments. This might be toggled in the Configuration, just in case there are problems with SWFUploader. Because it is better to be able to upload single files than no files at all ;). |

The file upload function with SWFUploader is only a additional offer.
You can anytime upload a (single) file when you create a new download (or change a download) in the backend via PHP.
