DetailsHi there,
I have a severe problem with IPv6 and "jDownloads 1.9.0 RC Build 906" running on a "Joomla v1.7.2". My buddy installed jDownloads on our website and tried to present the functions of your tool to me. The problem is all that I get ist an "error 404 - component not found". So I searched and searched because my buddy could open jDownloads. I finally found the "trail" while reading the apache logs of your server. My buddy has an old fashioned internet access which is only capable of IPv4 and thus connected to your site using IPv4. My internet connection is full featured IPv6 as is your webserver so my PC connects using IPv6. As I forced my PC to do a IPv4 connect my blocking the IPv6 path to the server, "jDownloads" finally appeared on my screen. After switching back to IPv6 it was dead as a stone. All stuff on our websits works great with IPv6 - Joomla and even all installed modules, components and so on... Until we installed your "jDownloads"... how can it be possible in the year 2011 that a software is not running on IPv6. So when can we expect to have working IPv6 support for "jDownloads"?? Thx, Lars |
