DetailsHello everybody at jDownload,
It seems that jDownloads has a problem with the apostrophe character ' and the quote character " being in the title of a download. When a title with a ' in it is entered for a download jDownload escapes it so as not to break the php - I think that's good - but it would be far better if rather than adding a \ it replaced the ' by something a little more user friendly. They're definitely room to implement handling correctly with htmlspecialchars() and htmlspecialchars_decode() I would think. I have noticed this post http://www.jdownloads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1776.msg7683#msg7683 and my settings are correct... I don't know if this used to work for you (the screenshots tend to sugest so ...) but for me it definitely doesn't any more : my setup is : Joomla! 1.7.4, jDownloads 1.9.0 Stable Build 909, shown in Firefox. |
