DetailsWhen the FTP layer is enabeled in Joomla 2.5.1 and a category is made, a directory is created using FTP.
Rights of that folder are normaly 755 or something but never 777. 777 is needed when apache is allowed to write in that folder (apache is not the owner of a dir created with FTP. The FTP user is). When a file is uploaded to the new created folder (category) the FTP layer is not used. Since the folder is not 777 and apache is not the owner the file can not be created. Solution: Disable FTP layer in Jdownloads of always use the FTP layer in Jdownloads (no need to 777 the dirs). |
