Details

Installation failed with MySQL 5.5.8 X64:
CREATE TABLE ...
) TYPE=MyISAM CHARACTER SET `utf8` COLLATE `utf8_general_ci`;

changed in install.sql to

) ENGINE=MyISAM ...

now installation works fine
