Title: Pagination is not working on subcategories.
Post by: meghaedz on 11.09.2023 14:48:43
I have subcategories more than 50. But it only shows 25 categories. Why not showing more pages for further subcategories? Why pagination is also not showing on subcategories page? Is there any setting in admin which is missing?

Hi
Each top level Category has its 'sub cats' and 'sub sub cats' and so on organised in a tree structure.
When you say you have more than 50 subcategories does that mean they all belong to one top level category?
How many top level Categories do you have?
And how are the subcategories distributed between them?

I will send you a Private Message

No that all 50 subcategories belongs to one of the subcategory. For example TopCategory => Subcategory 1 => sub sub category 1 => here I have 50 subcategories. Please help me to display these subcategories on multiple page with pagination.

Thanks Colin for your support. Actually I solved this issue by creating new layout for subcategory. Now it's working fine. Thank you so much. But there is one more issue jDownload control panel page is loading very slowly. There is no error in console, I'm not getting what is the exact issue. Can you please help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi
Presently Arno is looking into a database issue that is slowing down jD when there are many categories. So it might help if you could give  more details of your structure.  Say how many top level, how many 1st level and so on.  An ideal view would be a tree structure.

Also I would be interested in your modified subcategory layout. This could be done by using the insert code button or in this forum with a password proteced zip.
