Monitoring Issue - execute "check download area" crashes

Hi,

I try to execute the monitoring function. Select "look after new files only", the test run works. If I push "execute changes" the function crashes with error 500 (see picture).

OS : Linux a
PHP : 8.0.20
MySQL : 5.7.25
Joomla! : 4.2.5
jDownloads : 4.0.5

Is your 4.0.5 a fresh install or did you upgrade from an earlier beta version?

If it was from an earlier btea version did you completely uninstall that earlierversion first.  This because beta 4.0.5 has corrected several database 'challenges'.

With my test site, where 4.0.5 was a 'fresh' install'I have no problem, with the Check Download Area

my installation is a fresh one. On the first execution it worked well. On second try, the error occures.

I will try it twice!!

I loaded some files into a directory and did a 'Search only for new Files' which was successful
The I loaded some other files into anothe directory and repeated 'Search only for new Files' - again it was AOK

So I am unable to repeat your findings!
Do you have any more details?

Hi,
this cannot be reproduced also here.
And a 500 error could also be a server problem.
Are all folders writable? Check settings and info in jD options and/or via FTP.

Have you tried to another time again? Or with other folders?

The other scan functions works as expected?

I will build a complete new installation of joomla incl. jDowloads. It seem's to be an issue, that the joomla installion is updated from 3.10. So I will test again, when the new installation ist done.
In the mean time, I close this bug report.
