J4 upgrade - 404 Component not found.

Hi,

I'm using Jdownloads since more than 10 years, and i'm very happy with it. Thank you for this great component!
I'm trying to upgrade to Joomla 4 but i can't solve my problem : After upgrading, i have this error when launching Jdownloads 4.0.35 Stable :

An error has occurred.
404 Component not found.

After annoying you, i tried several things last week (really, not just 1 or 2 hours) :

-> Upgrading Jdownloads under last version then, after that, upgrading Joomla 3 to Joomla 4,
-> Upgrading Joomla 3 to Joomla 4, then upgrading Jdownloads Version 3.2.62 to Version 4.0.35
-> Deleting ( ) Jdownlads under Joomla 3, upgrading to Joomla 4, then reinstalling Jdownloads Version 4.0.35
-> Manually desinstall The jdownloads Databas....
--> trying an install on another server, with php 7.4 or php 8.2...

With always the same result when attempting to access to jdownloads in backend "404 Component not found."

I really can't start a fresh new install (i need to keep my database).

I don't know when i can try anymore, have you something to advice me?

If you cannot find a solution with Colin's help, you can also send me an Akeeba backup by e-mail. Then I would do the upgrade here locally and send them back a backup.
But perhaps this is not necessary.

After update to Joomla 4! and try install Jdownloads in 4.0.36 i have error compoment not found.

If you cannot find a solution with Colin's help, you can also send me an Akeeba backup by e-mail. Then I would do the upgrade here locally and send them back a backup.
But perhaps this is not necessary. 

Hi Arno (And Colin), as i didn't have answer from Colin after 48h, i would really bi interested in that solution (I need to make this upgrade last week). Is it still possible?

When it should be to big, use weTransfer.
