What I need is a dropdown menu for selecting Operating Systems, which is in the jDownloads configuration. (Add entries to the list of Operating Systems.) Options should include: - Select -, Windows, Mac, Android, iOS.
So, if there is a select field similar to the one for categories but for the operating system, it would be perfect as a filter to choose from.

Hi Ibrahim,
Filtering downloads in the frontend would really be a useful improvement. I had already thought about implementing this in earlier versions, but always had to postpone it due to lack of time. Moreover, almost no user has missed it so far. At least I can't remember any such requests in the forum.

However, I hope to be able to add this in the next main version.
Best Regards / Gruß
Arno

Dear Arno,

Thank you for responding. I really need it for filtering downloads in the front-end operating system. This would be a valuable improvement, and I appreciate your willingness to consider adding it to the next main version.

I have tried another solution by using Yootheme Dynamic Condition, and it worked, but there is a significant change for pagination that breaks. Please see the link in the PM to observe how it worked. Therefore it needs to be done on jdownloads there is no other solution.

I look forward to the upcoming main version with this feature as soon as possible if you can, and I'm confident it will be a significant and beneficial addition to the platform.

Thank you once again for your dedication to improving jDownloads.
