When is captcha available?

I have version 3.2.29 and I am wondering when captcha will be available?  And what plugin will we need to install? We are getting a lot of downloads from bots that are way wigging out our numbers and taking up resources.  It is cumbersome having to monitor and block IPs.

Hi,
you must only activate the reCaptcha (is a part from the Joomla installation) plugin and select it in the Joomla configuration to use it also with jD.
Additional must exist a placeholder {captcha} in the 'summary' layout. When you use the default 'summary' layout is it already included.
