Any alternative to ImageMagick PHP Module 'Imagick

Hi,

Thank you for an amazing extension.

My hosting company does not support  ImageMagick PHP Module 'Imagick; is there any alternative or workaround that would allow me to use automatic thumbnail generation? I desperately need the feature as part of the solution.

I am told 'you could use the Image Magic binary. You could use the binary via its location /usr/bin/convert' which I have no idea what it means!

i know not any other solution for the moment. So you should change to a other and better hoster.

HI,

i'm facing the same problem - imagemagick is installed, but not php-extension imagick; so I use phpThumb (it is a php abstraction class for imagemagick) instead.
