Sticky one file in Latest Downloads module

Is it possible to have one file always show at the top of the latest downloads module?  I have a user guide that I always want to appear in the latest files section (without having to constantly update the date on the file).

Hi,
no this is not possible without changes in the module source code. 

But maybe should you create a simple new module and insert in this a hint and a link to this download.

Have you tried setting a date a long time in the future?  You might need to explain why but it will be at the top.
So not pretty but will work.
