Hello,

I installed jDownload and everything is working great except one thing.
From the backend menu (Download, Files, Categories, etc).  When I click on FILES, I can upload files etc.

However, If I manually put a file in a category folder, when I click on the menu FILES, I get 500 Internal Server Error.
If I remove the actual file from the folder, FILES menu is starting to work again.

I expect that manually uploading files (with Folder Auto-Monitoring: ON) would be great but as soon a file showed up, I get that error.

Any idea?  the permissions are set correctly.  IUSR_ Full Control, System: Full Control, my account: Full Control.  I even add Everyone: Full Control.

Am I missing something?  Is there a specific permission that the files must have so jDownload can go through it without that 500 error?

Hi,
nobody else has reported a problem like yours.
So i think it is a problem with your server or your folder settings.
Maybe can you send me login data for your backend via PM?
Best Regards / Gruß
Arno

I encountered this issue too. I tried to reinstall it from the ground and luckily everything was fine.
