Notification email stopped sending

Good Day, all of the sudden my emails have stopped sending with the following message:  Notice: SMTP Error: data not accepted.  I have made no changes to how emails are configured on my server.  They worked 2 days ago.  Please help.  Thanks

  PS: Emails from other areas of website are sending w/o issue.  This includes registrations, postings, etc.

Which version of jD and which version of Joomla! are you using?
Have you doble checked the jD Config for emails and the Joomla! setup?

Most likely some new plugin, module or Component is causing the issue.  Can you go back to a recent backup?

Please note that the first message is only a "Notice" not really an error. And the second message seems to be correct. So are you sure that the e-mails are not sended?

Please check also the error level in your Joomla configuration. This should be on 'default'. See pic.
