jDownloads Latest Module [Not a Bug]

Hi! I´m trying to show the latest downloads with this module.
I have configured the module but it doesn't show. I have checked everything, categories, position, menu assigment, etc.

Do you had similar issues before?

Hi
We have had no problem with this module for a long time now.  What Joomla! permissions and View Access levels have you set up on your Categories and Downloads?

Also can you show Downloads using a  List All Categories menu item - note jD does need that menu item to exist, even if in a hidden menu.

Maybe you could send me super User details by PM (Click on white square near my name) together with some info where the Latest Module is to be seen

Hi Colin thanks for your answer. You helped me to see there was an error in the permissions of the categories.

Is there any way to link the download direct to the file instead the category view.

Hi

If you set the Module field "Linked to download-detail page?" to Yes then it will go to download details for that Download.
What is shown then depends on the Download Details Layout you have activated.
Also generally the following from the documentation might help

Specifically if you set Config Downloads tab field "Activate direct-downloading?" you will skip the Summary page unless you have set password, Captcha, time delay or similar.
