Duplicate File Download Links Created [Solved]

I am using Joomla 3.51 and latest JD.

I have hundreds of mp3's.

I recently upgraded from joomla 2.5 to 3.51.

I re-installed latest JD.

I noticed some download links were duplicated. I uninstalled JD. Using phpmyadmin I deleted all JD tables.

I re-installed JD but get the same duplicate problem.

I saw the post regarding turning off auto monitoring, however the initial scan takes place automatically when you install JD. How can I disable the initial auto scan when installing JD?

Hi,
strange thing.
When you get the installation results page, go directly via Joomla components menu to jDownloads configuration. So you can deactivate the auto monitoring before you go to the control panel.

Thank you for your help. I uninstalled, deleted the db and reinstalled following your advice. Duplicate issue has been fixed. Thank you. Basheer
