Unknown column error

I have installed v3.2.44 on Joomla 3.5.1 It says it installed OK. When I select the download menu option, I get an error...



Unknown column 'a.featured' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `#__jdownloads_files` AS a LEFT JOIN #__users AS ...............................


and it goes on.


Did I miss something?

Is this a brand new first time install or did you have an earlier version.  If yes what was the previous version?

Clean install of 3.5.1 and Jdownloads (sort of). 
However, I am recreating a site using Jooomla 3.4.3 tables. I updated them to 3.5 with the joomla installer / updater which worked OK and then installed jdownloads - twice as recommended on the 3.5.1 version, No error messages until I selected the downloads option.  I'm doing this on localhost on my pc.

I've added a new column in the table called featured and it seems to have worked, but I haven't done a thorough test.

That is exactly what I was about to request you do.  We did change the files table when featured was  implemented

It is correct that you had already installed an older jDownloads version? It can not be that you gets this problem with a fresh new installation from jDownloads.
