Meta Description will not save for Categories

Currently running Joomla 5.2.4 and jDownloads 4.0.46.

I'm trying to update the meta description for all of my sites categories, however, none of them will save. The meta keywords update and save without issue. Anyone else seen this or have a fix? Thanks.

Josh,
Could you send a link to one of your sites that is using meta data
My normal procedure to view the meta data is to right click on a page and then click on View Page Source

Think you mean in Downloads - Categories do not have meta data!!
