Can't open Layouts

Hello,

Not sure it is a bug from JDownloads but I just updated my Joomla 3.9 to 4.4.8 with the latest version of JDownloads(4.0.45) and each time I'm trying to access a specific layout from the Layouts page it  loads for ever and after 30s something I got this error message:
"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

I did a fresh install of Jdownloads and all the site seems to run fine. Database version is MySQL 8.0 with Php 8.1

Has anyone ever encountered this issue before?

The probable cause was an initial incomplete update - Sometimes (but rarely) Joomla does not get it right when updating a Component and all its modules and plugins

Yes it is all working good now. Thanks Colin for your intervention, after updating to Joomla 5 the problem disappeared.
