Hi,

I got a permission error when I first tried to install the package, so I went on uninstalling everything I could be able to find: package from Joomla administration back-end, directories and files via command line, and even tables using phpmyadmin.
Nonetheless since then every time I try to install the package I receives the following message:

An error has occurred.
1146 Table 'taldig.taldig_jdownloads_config' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT setting_value FROM taldig_jdownloads_config WHERE setting_name = 'show.header.catlist.uncategorised'

I also cleaned the cache.

??? I really don't know what else to do. Any hints will be appreciate!

Thank you

L.

Hi,
I have never read before about a problem like yours.

Hi,

the first error message was about permissions as I haven't enough rights to create a new directory that was at the same level as Joomla is.
After being granted write permission this message hasn't appeared again.

Yes, I used Joomla uninstall function from extension manager menu. During uninstall process I got some error messages about directories not being cancelled.
I did it manually, then I tried to install it again and I started receiving the error message I'm writing on.

Sorry, I have to check how to extract logging data, because I don't know how to do it.

Thank you!

Hi,
maybe should you delete all database tables from jD and try first then to install it new again.
Read here:
http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/how-to-delete

But before should you try to solve the folder permission problem.
