When I updated jDownloads, I found that my upload file page had become broken. After resolving this, I noticed the visual style of the frontend upload had been changed drastically. Instead of a long list of items (that I had control of) it now has several tabs crammed into my very small site. Unfortunately this layout is unmanageable for my users who only need to input a file, and maybe a description or picture or two.

1) Can I change the layout of this frontend upload page in the current version? I do not like the tabs, they are causing visual issues on my site.

2) Can I hide a majority of the fields I do not need? I can no longer seem to find where to do this. I mean, having fields like price and license is just unnecessary clutter for my purposes. It makes it very hard for my users to upload files when there's more paperwork involved than a tax return.

And hey, if there's nothing that can be done I'll just have to use another plugin, which would be really unfortunate. I love how readable the category browser is, but if my users have to wade through fields and tabs they don't need just to submit a file, I'm afraid they won't do it. The whole thing seems a bit silly, not but a few months ago I had control over which fields showed up in the form. Updates really shouldn't take those kinds of features away when possible, people could be depending on them.

Okay so apparently these features exist in the BETA, they're just seriously hard to find. So nevermind.

Hi,
sorry for the delay.
We have many options moved to the new 'User Groups Settings'. So it is now very flexible and you can define for every user group different settings.  ;)

Hi
In the User Group Settings you can define for each User Group which questions are asked. Also you can choose not to have Tabbed  so you can reproduce just like before.  Note also that where a user belongs to multiple groups you can set which is the most important group.  Article http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/which-user-group-is-used?category_id=29 might be useful.
