News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hi
The most likely causes are the following

  • The files have been physically moved to a new loaction
  • the file location on server does not match that set in Config- Downloads Tab - field "Upload directory path"
  • file permissions on your server have been changed
  • database table has become corrupted  - really hope it is not this one!
Do you have a full backup such as generated https://peblueprint.com/bathmate-review abathmate post by Akeeba backup?
Will need admin access to resolve further so please PM (note all earlier ones have been removed)

Hi Colin. Same thing here. I haven't moved any files or changed any permissions. If my database is corrupted does that mean I will need to start all over? Also does this mean I have been hacked somehow?

Hi
When you say that you are getting the message about Requested Files not being there..." I need to ask a few questions - please answer all even if a simple no. But I doubt if you have been hacked, it is more likely some non stanard way of adding files or directories.

Have you recently upgraded jD or made any other changes?
Which jD version are you using?
And which version of Joomla! ?
Do you have Auto monitoring on in Config- Monitoring tab  - "Download Directory Monitoring?" field set to Yes
Has anyone used ftp or similar to directly up load directories or files?
Does the problem exist if you login on the front end as Super User?

Could you please also send super user login details by PM (white square by my name) so I can take a look to check over.
