Hidden Categories in the drop down list

Hi all,
i´m new in this forum. I have installed jdownloads 3.2.36 and all works good. The only point i need to clear are the categories in the drop down list, when adding a new document.
I see all the categories, also the hidden. Is their a possibility to hide them correctly?

Hi
Normally you will see all the categories in which you have the ability to create a Download.
However in Config - Front End tab you have fields Also include a link for 'Uncategorised Only' and Also include a link for 'All Downloads'. You can set both of those to No.  Also in User Groups Settings you can set a  particular User Group to only have access to a specific category.  But it is probably better to sort out who can see and do what by using view Access levels and the Permissions. See the documentation for those aspect, and also ask any specific questions here.
