News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Error 404 with jcomments
Hello.
I'm using jcomments for jDownloads.
I see that is integrated, but unfortunately, the flow of the comments of jDownloads, gives me a 404 error.

url is composed as follows:
Quote...download?view=viewdownload&catid=5&cid=16

the error is:
QuoteView not found [name, type, prefix]: viewdownload, html, jdownloadsView
Some idea?

Hi
Have you loaded the special  com_jdownloads.plugin.php file as described in the documentation?

Thank you.
The problem occurs only with the comments of one download,
All other comments work fine.

Hi
Presume jComments OK with other Downloads.
In order to help I would need to see the problem on your site as I am not having a problem.
Could you please PM me details (click on 'squarish' blob below name).

Just as a thought is the Download Published?

I solved this:
I changed category,
I cleaned the cache,
I wrote a test comment
I put the right category,
I cleaned the cache,
I deleted test comment.

It seems strange, but the links of comments, have been rewritten correctly.

Only thing, that the comment link is pointing to the page of the file, and not to the comment link.
