Frontend Activate

Prior to updating to version 3, people could activate a file from the front end uploader.

I feel like I am missing something, but I can not find out how to activate a file from the front of the website.
The only option I can find is to go to the backend of the website and activate the files every time after the fact.

Could someone please let me know what I am missing,

Yes you can Publish a Download from the Tront End.
Please go to Users Groups Settings and select the  UG you allow to upload - what I refer to as the 'uploader' UG or groups
In the Group Creation/Editting Settings there is a field near the top called   'Publish new Downloads' which needs to be ticked.

It was the same in the 2.5 series but once set often .....
