Error when updating download

I have been using the extension for a few months now and it was working great. Now I want to update a download but it is causing problems.

I have uploaded new files to update the old downloads, then I go to the downloads tab and click on a download. Then I assign a different file on the server(the updated file). When I try to save my changes I get an error:
Warning:
Cant find source file

Error:
COM_JDOWNLOADS_BACKEND_FILESEDIT_SAVE_MOVEFILE_ERROR

I am using Joomla 3.9.2 and jDownloads Version 3.2.63.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi,
when you upload via 'Files' page a file he should exist in the downloads root folder (by default: /jdownloads). Please check this. When you select this file in the 'edit' page he must be moved to the Downloads category folder.

Can it be that you use filenames with very special characters?
