Change download counter manually?

Is it possible to change the download counter manually? Background: So far I have offered my downloads via GPSies. In the future, I would like to do that through my website. With GPSies, I see how many times the files have already been downloaded. I would like to take over these values.

Yes this is available.  It can be done manually in the backend for each Download.Go to Downloads and click on the one you wish to change. Select the Publishing tab and at the bottom you will see an entry called Downloaded where you can edit the value.  there is also one above it called views which shows the number of times looked at but not downloaded.
