News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hello,
Regardless of whether "Use Downloads title as download link" is enabled or not, it is giving 404 error and not showing download details view on downloads page.
On the search results page it works correctly.

I noticed a difference in the URLs:

Example URL download page with 404 error;
https://www.bimstorehouse.com/index.php/component/jdownloads/download/56-aquecimento/1268-coletor-solar.html?Itemid=177

Search result URL working correctly;
https://www.bimstorehouse.com/index.php/downloads/download/56-aquecimento/1268-coletor-solar.html?Itemid=177

I updated Jdownloads to the latest version and it didn't solve the problem (JD 4.0.28 Stable).
Joomla version 4.3.1

I'm sorry for my English, I'm brazilian.
Grateful!

Hi
In Joomla Global Config - Site tab - SEO section have you set up any option to Yes?
It is Ok to set Search Engine Fiendly URLs to Yes but please set others to No

This may not solve your problem but it may be part of it

Hi
I disabled "Add Suffix to URL" from SEO but it didn't solve it..

Only "Search Engine Friendly URLs" is checked..

Is there anything else I can do?

Grateful

Could I get access to your backend? If yes, please send the data via PM.
If no, exist a default menu item for jDownloads from type 'All Categories'?

Edit:
I cannot reproduce it at the moment. Please test it self on the demo site:
https://jd40.jdownloads.org/downloads/category/62-test-files-of-different-sizes

Settings see pic below.

Hi
I made the settings in the CEO as you passed but it didn't solve it.

Differences in download page and search result URLs remain.

Gratefull

Hi,
see attached pic. No such menu item had been created. Now that I have made up for it, everything works as it should.
Please read more about this in the documentation. It is also possible to use a hidden menu.
https://www.jdownloads.net/documentation/menu-items-v3-9/menus-overview-details#list-all-categories

Unfortunately, it happens again and again that users do not read or do not follow the instructions. Which costs us time and again unnecessarily.  :-\
