I upgraded to J4+ and upgraded jDownloads as well.
I the jDownloads Control panel, the module doesn't display the correct content, see attached screenshot.

There is only English configured on this site. Is this a language issue? How can I correct this?

Thanks,

Ed

Hi
This could be that you selected a language that is not loaded.
But not really sure as I have not seen this 'challenge' before
will investigate

Thanks Colin.

As an FYI, the site is using just the default Joomla language install:

English (United Kingdom)

No changes have been made or languages installed or removed.

Cheers,
Ed

I can confirm this, and I think it's related to yesterday's Joomla update. I see the same problem with another extension, both on J3 and J4.

Thanks,
Frode

Yes, this is definetly tied to the latest Joomla update.

This problem is discussed on the forums, e.g. in this thread:
https://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=831&t=1005728

So there's a very simple solution. In the language file administrator/modules/mod_jdownloads_admin_monitoring/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_jdownloads_admin_monitoring.ini you have a CR in MOD_JDOWNLOADS_ADMIN_MONITORING_DESC_LONG. Remove it, and the bug is gone.

Thank you.
This fix solved the issue for me, which will hopefully be addressed in a future Joomla release.

Please use the attached file until I have published the next update.

Copy it to this folder:
administrator/modules/mod_jdownloads_admin_monitoring/language/en-GB/
