News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

My site is multi language and my users get error when want to download. i checked and find out that we need to add use Joomla\Component\Categories\Administrator\Helper\CategoriesHelper; to below files:
1: administrator/components/com_jdownloads/src/Helper/associations.php
2: administrator/components/com_jdownloads/src/Helper/AssociationsHelper.php

it is need for "CategoriesHelper::getAssociations($id)" function.

Hi
That is strange as I have a working multi language site with no problems.  It has 4 languages English, French, German and Arabic (to check RTL languages).
Please advise what version of Joomla and jD
Thanks

Hi
I see you are using falang for the tranlations, that is probably the difference.
I am not sure that falang has been tested with jD.  Suggest you contact Stephane Bouey to see if it has been tested with jD.  I think that part of the challenge is that maybe Falang relies on SEO links, but this is currently not supported in jD. Incidently which version of Falang are you using
Also did you make Joomla itself into a a multilang site when it was installed.
I will send you a PM
