Questions about the upcoming version jdownloads 2.x

I would like to ask you some questions about the upcoming version jdownloads 2.x
1. How it will be differ from 1.9.x?
2. Database from Jd 1.9.x will be 100% compatible with the database form Jd 2.x?
3. Plugins and modules that are to 1.9.x, exactly the same will be present in version 2.x?
4. Layouts to downloads, categories, etc. will be compatible with 2.0?
5. What new can we expect in the version 2.x?
Tell us something about version 2.0. =)

for  2. - 4.: Yes.
It is possible, that we have little differences. But this is not a problem, then the data are converted automaticly.
For all others, it is to early...

i work current on the basic functions. Possible, that i start a user poll (for new functions) when i have this ready.
When you will help and you has a little time for jD, i can you add to the testing team.
Has you extensive experiences with Joomla 1.7?
