Downloads not showing in front end lists

I am running Joomla 3.3 with jDownloads 1.8.3

The jdownloads portion of the site was migrated over from Joomla 1.5 following the directions found on the jDownloads site.

My problem is that even though there are hundreds of files in the jdownloads system when you go into any of the categories on the front end they do not show up in the list.  The pagination displays as though they were all there (showing multiple pages of files to download) but there are no file names to click on. Screenshot is shown below:

Hopefully this is just a simple error on my part but I would be very grateful for any help you might be able to give me on this.

Can anyone tell me (or at least give me idea of where to look) what to do to fix this problem?  The pages display as if there are multiple pages of documents to download but no titles show up to click on.

sorry for the delay.

I am running Joomla 3.3 with jDownloads 1.8.3

This can not work. You need the complete new beta version 3.2.x for this, or at minimum the old version 1.9.x.
