JComments 3.0.5 Stable not showing up in 3.2.18 Beta

Hi, I enable jcomments and the option says "JComments is already installed.". But JComments is not displayed in the default Downloads Details page despite the scripts and css are loaded.

I have jD 3.2.18 and jComments 3.0.5 and all seems well.  jComments was installed when I was using an earlier jD version and has worked ok ever since.  I also uninstalled and re-installed in 3.2.18.  All OK
When it is not intalled the Config show as in pic jComments04A.png below.  When jComments is installed config is as shown in pic jComments04.png
In jComments04.png it would be better if it said "jComments is installed" rather than "jComments is already installed".

... it worked with 3.2. 12 (or so) and JComments 3.0.0 (or so). It stppoed working after updating JComments to 3.0.5

Strange! TO test further I have uninstalled and reinstalled JComments 3.0.5 and all was OK in JD 3.2.18.
I wonder if comments made with earlier versions are causing the problem
