showing all downloads - even the "registered only"-downloads to everyone

maybe someone could help me with my supid newbie-question or name the right phrase for the search-engine ;-)

i'm using the direct-download link.  {jd_file file== } and it works perfect!

now i have two categories

cat-a  public
cat-b  for registered users

i want to show all download (even the cat-b)  to all users.  if they click a "cat-b"download they have to login.

is this possible?
