Multi-Language Support

Hi Colin,

One of my users asked if it would be possible to have the description of a download (see link below) available in multiple languages.  The normal language capability of Joomla does not apply to user provided content.  So, I thought I would try embedding the Google Website Translator plugin on the page but the <script></script> tags are not allowed.  Suggestions?

OK, I think I see the problem. 

In the jdownloads backend, when you select a specific download, you have two language options, one for the download file and one for the joomla language options, e.g. English, French.  However, when a user adds a new download, one can only specify the file language.  We need to be able to specify the broader language, e.g. English or French.  Does that make sense?

You can select the other language field in the jD 'User Groups Settings'. See pic.
