News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

When I click on "Files" from the control panel, I receive the following error:

Quote0 DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (05-28-2015) at position 0 (0): Unexpected character

So, I cannot access my files! Please advise.

Hi
Could you give a bit more context please!  Version of Joomla! and version of jD would be a start!

Also without the site part could you advise what is the jD main download directory as given in Configuration - Downloads tab in the "Upload directory path" field
Are all the directories writable?

Just for simplicity on the same tab could you set the "Long Date-Time format" and "Short Date-Time format" fields to Y-m-d

Have you uploaded files into the jDownloads Root directory.  If so how (ftp perhaps)?
What file types do you have in the  jD root folder/
