New Install, no uploaded files detected.

Hello just did a clean install of Jdownloads, newest version 3.2.36, with the newest version of joomla 3.4.4..












and i tried to upload one file in the admin backend area and it seemed to upload but did not appear in the files list.  So tried to upload files to the jdownloads root directory and then manually detect them and nothing still.  What am I missing?

Well seems they dont show up in the root folder, so I tested one file in the uncategorized folder and it detected it, so trying all the files in there now.

sorry but i understand not really what you have done.

- You can create a new 'Download' in backend and select here a file for the upload
- You can also do this in frontend (when you have ther permissions to do this)
- You can upload files (and folders) directly via FTP to the jD root folder
  - afterwards it is possible to create for this files new Downloads (see 'Files' in backend)
- you can upload files (and folders) directly via FTP to the any categories folder
  - afterwards are this files detected from the auto monitoring in backend and automaticly new 'Downloads' orr/and 'Downloads' created
- you can 'mass' upload files via backend - go to 'Files / Upload'
  - afterwards it is possible to create for this files new Downloads (see 'Files' in backend)

Just a couple of thoughts. 
The Files tab in the backend lists those files that have been uploaded to the root directory and not yet made into a Download.  in jD terms a Download is not just the file that will be downloaded but it includes many optional items such as a symbol, a description, images and could also include sound and video clips.

When a file is uploaded from either the front end or the back end then a Download will be created.  But the default setting is that it is not published.  For the backend there is a setting in the Cofiguration.  For the front end upload there is a setting for each User Group in User Groups Settings.
