Auto publish failure

Hello, 

When I do a upload of file from front-end, I would like to automatically publish this file on download area, but I must publish the file manually.

On configuration area, in Monitoring option I've:

• Download directory monitoring? Yes
• Automatically publish Downloads? Yes

But it not works...

What can I do?

Hi
From the front end it is the User Groups Settings which are used.  You can set them individually for each user groupo that you allow to upload.   Generally I create a user group called Uploader with Registered as its parent.

The setting you want is in User Groups Settings - Group Creation/Editing Settings - Publish new Downloads field.
Remember to set the user groups Ranking value sufficiently high say 123.

The "auto monitoring" feature is only for files which are uploaded manually via FTP.
